Riley (2)

Little Riley was part of my urban/country maternity shoot. Doesn't urban suit him?

Meredith and Eric: Country Pictures

This is part 2 of a maternity shoot I did for this happy couple. Luckily they didn't get bit by all the ants that seemed to be everywhere I stood!

Meredith and Eric: Urban Maternity Shoot

My wonderful friends are about to have baby #2. This is part one of two of our maternity session. We went a little urban and a little country in the span of an hour!

Biology happens

I try to warn all my new clients that biology happens. If you take off a baby's diaper they consider it a dare. Actually, they are just doing what comes natural. If it happens during a session, rest assured it has happened before. I have two children of my own, so I understand accidents happen. We'll just keep on moving. We have pictures to capture!

my future son-in-law

My three year old daughter recently decided she wanted to get married. She also decided who the lucky guy was. Luckily, dad and I love Parker. He came over and tried to mop--every chance he could. Who am I to say no to her choice?

Sibling kisses

I caught my daughter giving a genuine kiss to my son. It isn't a bad thing, just unexpected and elusive to get on camera at this age. I was so excited I couldn't even center the picture, but I caught a real moment.

A special relationship

There are moments that I wish I could bottle up and save for later. These are two of them. My daughter and husband have a very special bond. I'm still sorting through the hundreds of pictures I took on vacation. It's rainy here and I needed something sunny to enjoy!

A beautiful line

I generally try not to cut off heads when I'm taking pictures, but I saw this line through my viewfinder and had to take the picture. I think you'll agree that sometimes it is okay to break your own rules.

happy girl

Doesn't this picture just make you smile? It is so had to keep the camera still when you see a baby smile. I get so anxious to capture the moment!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T

This summer I had the opportunity to take a baby posing workshop with Kelley Ryden and her twin sister, Tracy Raver. I know I blogged about this before, but on Friday Tracy was featured on The Today Show. Tracy and Kelley are two of the nicest, down to earth people you will ever meet. They packed in so much training in a two day workshop. I am so blessed to have trained with them and hope to keep improving my craft like they have! Follow the link below to see the story.

sneak peek: Luke

Little Luke looks like an angel, right? He was so dreamy once he fell asleep.

sneak peek: Kingston

Talk about a tough little one. I know he looks like he was peacefully sleeping, but he was wanting to stay up and play. He was definitely worth the work.

sneak peek: Kinley

I had the opportunity to photograph this little doll, Kinley. Her parents saved the gender as a surprise. I was just as excited as they were when I found out it was a girl!

Hawaii Pics

My children have to be so sick of the camera, but I have had so much fun taking these pictures!

Hawaii continued

I had to share this picture. The people at the Marriott called her Little Miss Aloha. She said it to everyone that walked by!

Making Friends

We met the nicest family on our vacation. I took family pictures and took a few pictures of the children, too. Little Logan acted like he didn't want his picture taken, but came through in the end. The pose I posted was his own! Avery was more than ready for her pictures.
