The Stamp family-DFW maternity and newborn photographer

Excuse the dust, I am getting back to blogging. Since I have waited so long I get blog a few maternity and beautiful newborn sessions.

First, I have to say that this is a beautiful couple. I knew when I saw them that they were going to have a gorgeous baby. Maternity sessions can be tough for dads. They generally are not to keen about being in that many photographs but I know they are always happy when they see the finished photos. Dad even brought his awesome "blue steel" look for one photo.

Thanks so much to the Stamp family for choosing me to capture this awesome time in your lives!

And look at their baby girl. She was such a sweet thing and look at those eyelashes.

Sam turns one-Denton, TX Baby Photographer

I love meeting new clients. I had the pleasure of photographing this little guy as he turned one. I was so glad to capture him doing the things he loves--listening to music, dancing and playing with sticks. He was such a champ in this 100 degree heat. As long as there was music, he was happy! Thank you so much mom and dad for choosing me to document this fun period in his life!

Luke (9 months) DFW baby photographer

It is so much fun for me to capture these babies as they grow. Luke is now 9 months old. So cute and such a sweet baby boy. He has the bluest eyes I think I have seen on a baby. I just love the sweet picture with his dad, too.

Dane (3) and Paige (5 months)-Lewisville children's photographer

I had the pleasure of taking pictures of Dane and Paige today. Luckily, we were going to be indoors since we had that fluke rain and snow today. They were both so cute and little Dane was working it even though he didn't know it!

Luke (Six Months) Denton baby photographer

This little guy is getting bigger. I should qualify this statement because Luke started out at 10 pounds. Luke was so good and even gave me some good hugs in between takes.

Mommy and Charlie-3 months DFW children's photographer

This little man, Charlie, is three months old. It is so much fun for me to see how these little guys grow and change between sessions. Mom wanted some pictures with Charlie and I love trying something different. I love the colors she chose. They seem to pop right through the camera and doesn't mom look great?

My friend's babies are getting older!

I had another six month session. The awesome thing is that I get to capture their growth-and mine! Little Aaron was a champ. We had some fun playing in daddy's guitar case! I just loved the way he puckered up his lips. I processed that picture in a vintage wash. I just thought it looked cool! I also had to show the profile view of his faux hawk.

I ♥ Faces Best Face Contest

This week I am trying something different. I am entering a best face contest from I ♥ Faces. If you haven't already, visit their website www.iheartfaces.com. This entry is from a session I did on Saturday. My little friend, Kingston, just turned six months old. He is an absolute doll and I thought this picture was best served up pure--no textures, just Kingston with a fierce smile!

Kingston-6 months old-Lewisville children's photographer

I love Mr. Kingston. We did sessions at 8 weeks and 10 weeks and he was such a joy. He came in for his six month session and he was all smiles. The camera loves this boy and likewise.

Kelley Ryden & Tracy Raver's Baby Posing Class

My poor husband sent me a link to a blog that had pictures of his co-worker's newborn. Little did he know the photographer listed a workshop she attended. It was over! I asked (yes, you read that correctly) if I could go. He said yes and I booked everything before he could change his mind. It was an incredible experience. You can read more about the class at ww.kelleyryden.com/babyblog. Kelley and her sister, Tracy, are baby whisperers! Seriously, I wish I had known some of these tricks when my children were newborns. These are few of the pictures I took at the workshop.
