I heart faces-Love challenge

When I saw that this month's challenge was love I immediately thought of this picture. I always tell my clients who are first time moms that they will feel love like they never have felt before when they see their newborn baby. I wish you could bottle up that first moment when you see a baby. This photo represents that anticipation of love for me! Be sure to check out the other amazing entries at i heart faces.

I heart faces-best face of 2011

How could I possibly pick a best face from all my images last year? I decided to use a picture of my friend Nicole. Her image placed in the top ten for people's choice. I loved our little session, which was used for my cultivating confidence series. If you aren't a regular reader on my blog, you have to check it out. It is one of my favorite projects! I heart faces "black" challenge

I was so excited when I saw this week's theme. I just took photos of my daughter dressed like Audrey Hepburn a few weeks ago. It was her idea. She saw a calendar at Hobby Lobby and asked if I could dress her like that. I didn't have to be asked twice. She had so much fun and even gave me some of her own fun poses, but this is my favorite. I heart faces-let them be little challenge

This weekend we had my company picnic. The kids were playing and having fun so it was the first thing I thought of when I saw this challenge. Be sure to check out the other amazing entries at iheartfaces.

Let them be little.
Let them get their face painted!
Let them get their clothes dirty.
Let them believe in Santa and the tooth fairy.
Let them them play with your jewelry.
Let them know life is good!

I heart faces - Hands on fun challenge

I was thinking about sitting this week out, but remembered a photo I took at a friend's newborn session. It is her little daughter holding her finger. It is especially poignant to me because they struggled with fertility and Paige is truly a miracle. During our session every time my friend would say her daughter's name she would smile. I loved it!
