Mommy and Charlie-3 months DFW children's photographer

This little man, Charlie, is three months old. It is so much fun for me to see how these little guys grow and change between sessions. Mom wanted some pictures with Charlie and I love trying something different. I love the colors she chose. They seem to pop right through the camera and doesn't mom look great?

Max-12 days old Dallas newborn photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing Max today. He was so good, but stayed awake for a long time. Just when I thought he wouldn't sleep, he gave in. Thanks for the hugs today, Max. I love getting my baby fix!

I ♥ Faces-Texture

I recently took this picture of my daughter. I love the picture, but felt it was missing a little something. I added this texture called vanilla rainbow from Pareeerica on flickr. Be sure to visit www.iheartfaces.blogspot.com to see other fabulous entries!

My friend's babies are getting older!

I had another six month session. The awesome thing is that I get to capture their growth-and mine! Little Aaron was a champ. We had some fun playing in daddy's guitar case! I just loved the way he puckered up his lips. I processed that picture in a vintage wash. I just thought it looked cool! I also had to show the profile view of his faux hawk.

Let's go outside!

It rained enough to make my backyard muddy this weekend. My son could hardly stand staying inside. He made it out the doggy door a few times. It is so much fun having a little boy and watching his need to be outside. I can't say that I blame him. I have cabin fever! I have another six month session this weekend. I can't wait!

I Heart Faces-We are Family Challenge

This week's I Heart Faces challenge is "we are family." I really enjoy capturing candid photos of families. This picture is one of my husband and my daughter. It was taken this last summer during our vacation in Hawaii. I love the expression on both of their faces. They were having a great time. Be sure to check out www.iheartfaces.com for more wonderful entries.

This all started because of her

I couldn't stop taking her picture. I wanted to remember every funny little face. I wanted to remember how small her fingers and toes were. I have always loved photography, but never knew I could be so passionate about it until I had her. I love that God gave me this gift and I found it because of her. I love it when she smiles so big her eyes seem to go away. That's how I know it is her real smile. I'm feeling blessed today. I hope you are, too.

I ♥ Faces Best Face Contest

This week I am trying something different. I am entering a best face contest from I ♥ Faces. If you haven't already, visit their website www.iheartfaces.com. This entry is from a session I did on Saturday. My little friend, Kingston, just turned six months old. He is an absolute doll and I thought this picture was best served up pure--no textures, just Kingston with a fierce smile!

Kingston-6 months old-Lewisville children's photographer

I love Mr. Kingston. We did sessions at 8 weeks and 10 weeks and he was such a joy. He came in for his six month session and he was all smiles. The camera loves this boy and likewise.

Eliot - 20 months of spunk

I had been hoping to take Eliot's picture since the first time I saw her. She has the most amazing blue eyes and eyelashes to boot! Daddy is in trouble! She didn't stop for a minute, but at this age you try to capture that in a session.
