In all things give thanks
I was cleaning up before some friends came over the other day. I found myself thinking "I am always cleaning up!" The small, still voice in me reminded me of the verse "in all things give thanks." I am so thankful for healthy children who make messes for me to clean up. As my mom reminds me often, soon I will miss having children to clean up after. She's right. Be sure to give thanks today! Here is a sample of what I cleaned up. It's a regular toy store in here!

SO true. Perspective is all. One of the biggest challenges of motherhood is to be able to see the blessing in the chaos, but also one of the biggest opportunities to teach our kids to do the same. Congrats on getting it! :)
