In all things give thanks

I was cleaning up before some friends came over the other day. I found myself thinking "I am always cleaning up!" The small, still voice in me reminded me of the verse "in all things give thanks." I am so thankful for healthy children who make messes for me to clean up. As my mom reminds me often, soon I will miss having children to clean up after. She's right. Be sure to give thanks today! Here is a sample of what I cleaned up. It's a regular toy store in here!

Sweet Colette (4 weeks) Lewisville newborn photographer

Baby Colette came to me at 4 weeks. She was part of a family session I photographed. I captured a sweet moment with daddy kissing his baby girl. I had to share it that since I don't always get dads at my sessions.

Happy Mother's Day

There are so many things I love about photography and I am so glad that I have pursued my passion. It really started because I kept taking pictures of my daughter. She was the best model for years. She is a little over it right now, but I am hopeful that will change soon.

I know there are so many places that do photography, but I feel I bring something different to bear. I am a mom. I understand what it means to have a beautiful picture of your child. I strive every time to find a pose that will stand the test of time and be cherished by all who receive it.

I am so thankful for my wonderful mother. She has been such an inspiration in so many ways. She loves Jesus and always has the right verse for me. I love her very, very much. I appreciate her even more that I have children of my own. There are so many things you take for granted until you experience it yourself.

Of course, I can't post without pictures so here are a few of my children. They are so different and I couldn't be more proud to be their mother.

The B Family-Lewisville family photographer

I got a call from my friend, who needed a new family picture. Her boys are growing up way too fast. Little brother was the first baby I photographed after attending the Kelley Ryden and Tracy Raver workshop. I caught the older brother giving him kiss. It was so sweet because it was not posed.

The loves of my life

A few weeks ago we had our family pictures done by my friend Gina at Realife Photography. I am in love with the pictures and feel they really captured the stage we are at in life. It is definitely an adventure every day!
